25.12.2024 Princess Maja of Hohenzollern calls for refraining from fireworks on New Year’s Eve—for the sake of the animals!
Princess Maja of Hohenzollern is a long-time animal welfare advocate and lives with many rescued animals herself.
Every year, thousands of animals are terrified by the loud noises of fireworks, causing them to run away, get hit by cars, or become injured. Pets tremble in fear at home, and their owners often resort to spending New Year’s Eve in airports, as they are among the few noise-free zones.
Many animals lose their lives because they run onto the streets in panic and are struck by vehicles.
Princess Maja is determined to prevent this suffering. She urges people to donate to animal welfare instead and to burn sage at home during the "Rauhnächte" (the sacred nights), as this drives away spirits in a peaceful manner.

23- - 25.11.2024 Princess Maja and Schimmelpfennig GmbH & Co KG present the revolutionary innovation
At the "German Business Angel Day" in Mainz, the largest event in the industry, investors, startups, founders, and businesses came together for a three-day program.
Maja Princess of Hohenzollern, in collaboration with Schimmelpfennig GmbH & Co KG (Badshop.de), presented a groundbreaking innovation in the field of toilet health: the "Easy Poo 35." Partners and investors are being sought to bring this concept to life! The "EASYPOO 35°" is the first toilet featuring a 35-degree leg angle that significantly facilitates bowel movements and can alleviate the suffering of millions of people during their toilet visits. Award-winning designer Maja Princess of Hohenzollern (recipient of the "PETA VEGAN HOME AWARD Best Bathroom 2024") will design this innovative product.
Approximately 30-50% of the global population suffers temporarily from constipation or difficulties with bowel movements. The positive effects of a 35-degree leg angle during bowel movements are based on medical and scientific findings. This position mimics the natural squatting posture that our ancestors and people in many cultures have used for defecation.
Here’s why a 35-degree angle is beneficial: 1. Easier bowel movements due to the relaxation of the rectal muscle. 2. Prevention of constipation and relief during bowel movements, as the 35° squatting position reduces pressure on the anal sphincter and intestines. 3. Reduction of hemorrhoids through improved bowel movements and decreased pressure on the anus, lowering the risk of hemorrhoids and other anal issues. 4. Relief for chronic constipation, with individuals reporting improvements when using the 35° angle.
The "EASYPOO 35°" is the first toilet innovation to combine this traditional and medical knowledge with modern hygiene standards and Western toilet culture into a one-piece solution!

Together with the company Schimmelpfennig GmbH & Co. KG, which owns the market-leading online shop "Badshop.de", Princess Maja von Hohenzollern presents the "GOODY GUARD" at the world's leading trade fair "Fachpack" in Nuremberg. The GOODY GUARD is a NEW loading aid that brings measurable benefits for the transport of goods that are transported unflush on pallets. This is where the GOODY GUARD comes into play, providing stability and a better angle when strapping and stretching. The GOODY GUARD is significantly cheaper than a Euro pallet (80% saving), it saves loading space (33%) and reduces the returns rate by up to 40%. Less damage to goods means satisfied customers and higher profits.
Above all, the safe transport of sensitive products and the weight savings due to the much lighter GOODY GUARD are significant, saving fuel, CO2 and tolls, which is visibly reflected in the operating result given the number of goods loads on a lorry per year. 300 units of GOODY GUARDS are available in a single truck. 20.08.2024 Princess Maja von Hohenzollern honoured with lifesaver certificate
On the occasion of the Hungarian bank holidays on 20 August, Princess Maja von Hohenzollern was honoured by the mayor with the Life Saver Certificate. Princess Maja saved the life of a 61-year-old man in Hungary. The man had fallen into a small river and was floating unconscious face down in the 9 C cold water. Princess Maja happened to be walking dogs along the river as part of her animal welfare work and became aware of the lifeless body in the water because she saw an overturned bicycle lying on the bank, but no person with it. She jumped into the river and pulled the motionless man to the bank. His face and hands were already turning blue, he was not breathing and showed no reaction. Princess Maja immediately began life-saving measures and succeeded in resuscitating the man after some time. She drew the attention of a passing cyclist, who then called the ambulance. Princess Maja was able to stabilise the man and keep him conscious until the emergency services arrived. After a few days in hospital, he was discharged in good health.
24.06.2024 Princess Maja von Hohenzollern wins PETA VEGAN AWARDS HOMEWARE 2024
Designer Princess Maja von Hohenzollern was honoured with the PETA VEGAN AWARD HOMEWARE 2024 award in the "Best Bathroom" category. Princess Maja von Hohenzollern is considered a "Vegan Pioneer" and has been designing her various collections such as carpets, furniture, children's furniture, home decoration, household products and even modular houses made from innovative materials that are sustainable and free from animal suffering. She was one of the first designers in the world to conceive and design vegan home products, such as the world's first vegan bathroom fittings collection, the first vegan-certified carpet collection, the first vegan-certified household products, etc. With a keen sense for the needs of end customers, she realises the current zeitgeist in her designs in an unmistakable way by combining ethics, style and functionality in her products. She creates products that look luxurious and are still ecological. To this end, it is constantly searching the world for innovative materials and sustainable production methods.
"I don't want animals to be exploited, mistreated or killed in any way for my home products. That's why I'm always working with new materials and look for these and new production methods worldwide to implement them in my products. Years ago, it was not easy to convince retailers and companies of this vision. Many have recognised the changing zeitgeist and the new ethical demands of end customers very late. There is often a lack of analytical reference to the target group and a feeling for how younger generations tick and live today. If entrepreneurs only react when everyone else does and jump on the bandwagon too late, then important market potential has usually already been lost and siphoned off by more innovative companies. have already been lost and siphoned off by more innovative companies. I am therefore delighted to receive this award and would like to thank all my partners who have successfully realised my vegan home collections with me. Great Thanks to PETA for honouring my work as a designer in this way and for confirming to all of us, that it is worth taking bold and new paths in design.“ Princess Maja is vegan herself and a dedicated animal welfare activist. She lives with 20 adopted pets, that she all has rescued from killing shelters and the street.
